Increase in Suicide Attempts

In growing years, incidences of suicide issue to rest assured wider in Pakistan and suicide has turn into a major public health problem. From available evidence it appears that most suicides occur in puerile people (contrasting men and married female) beneath the age of 30 second childhood. Hanging, use of insecticides and firearms are the vastly common methods and interpersonal proportion problems also gregarious issues again is the most common ring in for suicide. Mental illness is one of the reasons of the suicide attempts, there are several other reasons dilatory it, mind lack of resources, lack of primary health services, political instability are also reasons of suicide attempts. To tackle this problem public also health professionals ardor to power altogether cloak oversight besides non government institutions.

Suicide and attempted suicide are understudied subjects in Pakistan, an Islamic country where they are considered criminal offenses. at rest suicide statistics are not compiled nor are suicide mortality statistics reported to the totality Health job (WHO). There is absence of information on suicide from Pakistan, an Islamic kingdom in which data collection poses formidable challenges. A variety of social, legal, and religious factors establish reporting and diagnosing suicide ambitious. Paradoxically, incidents of suicide are regularly reported in newspapers Pakistan. In the effortlessness of other item these reports puff a useful, though basic enlightenment source as suicidal deaths

Pakistan is a South Asian developing country with a population of approximately 162 million, with 97% Muslim folk. Suicide is a condemned act in Islam. Traditionally, suicide numbers were low but in recent years, they have shown an increase and suicide has become a major public health no picnic clout Pakistan. There are no certified statistics on suicide from Pakistan. Suicide deaths are not included in the national annual Mortality statistics. National rates are neither known nor reported to the World Health burden (WHO).

In summary, the methodical low rates of suicide and the demanding influence of Islam appears to have undergone a radical tailor in Pakistan and suicide has become a major governmental health uphill. There is need considering collaboration between government, non-governmental organizations and federal and mental health professionals to take up this demand

Causes of Poverty

Causes of Poverty

However we know that there is the presence of Poverty in Pakistan but we never tried to know that What are the causes of this problem? Why this Gape hole is increasing Day by Day ? What are the purposes that this is happening and the answers are that there is poor Governance they are not able to Implement the rules and laws they are failed to decrease the concept of discrimination among the people of Pakistan . The second is Economic determinants they have no knowledge and idea of economic growth that what is the situation of economy of Pakistan and how they can take it to the betterment of nation .The third is social determinants
The economic determinants are the key to understand the situation of Povert in the country that how fast it is increasing or decreasing .Environmental degradation is the fourth cause of poverty and it means that how fastly we are destroying the gifts of nature that are useful for us in form of health and as well financially .
Most of the people in our country depends on these resources they work and eat just because of these natural resources but if we destroy them than there will be a great shift in poverty level because they have no alternative they are specialize in there specific skills which cannot help them in diversifying to the other work . So government should take care of these scenario also so they can got success in minimizing this aspect that is poverty.

Pakistan’s Poor Province

Pakistan attained freedom on 14th August 1947 and then it was further divided into four provinces which are Punjab ,Baluchistan,Sindh and NWFP . However all of them are facing the problems regards to poverty level but one of them is in more critical situation regards with the poverty and that Province is Baluchistan.

Baluchistan is Pakistan's biggest province in terms of area but only has an estimated 10 million to 12 million of the country's 165 million people. It shares borders with Iran to the west and Afghanistan to the north. To the south is the Arabian Sea. Quetta is the capital of the province.Baluchistan is the largest copper deposits in the world. It is the province with different natural resources but they are not used by our government due to some security rezones and as well some contracts that our country have done with the other nations . For decades, separatists in Baluchistan have been waging a low-level insurgency for control of those resources which they say are unfairly exploited by richer provinces.
This province is much more dangerous then the others due to the presence of Taliban that came from Afghanistan in Quetta which is the capital of this Province. Now a days U.S is focusing on this province due to the presence of Taliban in this Province.
This province have many educational institutes but are failed to survive just because of the terrorist acts that are happening in Baluchistan . According to the survey, 8.6 percent out of the 10,381 educational institutions in the province are in a ‘dangerous’ condition. About 24.7 percent of these need major repairs while 36.6 percent require minor repairs. Only 30.2 percent are in satisfactory conditions.Baluchistan literacy rate is GPI 0.46 .So what I can suggest is that Pakistan’s Government should focus on this Province so that in future it will not create any type of hurdle for it to succeed in future .

'Is there a need to get girls educated?'

"Is there a need to get our girls educated? Whats the use?". These are questions frequently asked by the educationists who go to rural areas to spread awareness about the importance of getting the females educated.

Girls in rural areas have to face many cultural and social problems. One of the most deplorable aspects is that in some places, particularly northern tribal areas, the education of girls is strictly prohibited on religious grounds. This is a gross misinterpretation of Islam, which like other religions urges men and women both to seek knowledge.

Though the need has been felt by some rural parts of Pakistan still alot of girls are not able to acquire education beyound secondary level simply because one does not exist for girls. Though there are a few privately-run middle schools but the fees for such school is so high that the poor families of the village can not afford them.

While the U. N. recommends that developing countries set aside four percent of gross national product (GNP) for education, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) annual report for 2004 shows that spending is still only 1.8 percent of GNP. Thus the annual spending needs to be increased and specially for girls who receive only a small weightage.

There are vast gender and regional disparities between the provinces. While the overall literacy rate in Sindh is 56 percent, it is only 36 percent in Balochistan and substantial disparities also exist at the district level within provinces.

Pakistan's overall literacy rate of 54 percent in 2004 was achieved largely due to an increased emphasis on basic education in the country to achieve the U.N. millennium development goals (MDGs) of universal primary education, according to the SBP report.

But the need for higher education needs to be felt now and secondary schooling should be easily available to those who can build a brighter future for Pakistan.

Ways to improve education in Pakistan

Education in Pakistan is effected by several factors such as the existence of cost effective schools, better curricula and an awareness amongst parents about the importance of education specially in rural areas. But above all the single most important factor is to make sure that the children complete their basic primary education.

However there are institutional reforms that can help improve Pakistans educational sysytem so that it can achieve its goal of completeion of primary education nationwide.

The first reform will be to create decentralisaion that is better education should be provided at village and district level and not only at the bigger cities of the state. The bureaucracy shoul not be allowed to interfer with the needs and requirements of schools at lower levels but should delegate responsilbility to local authorities.

Another step that can be taken to improve the educational system is by providing better support and coordination at district and provincial levels. The most important element of any school is good faculty and the central education body should make sure that the students at the lower levels have this facility.

Finally the last but the most important factor in improving education in Pakistan is to spread awareness amongst the rural population about the necessity of education for both girls and boys. Then annual research should be conducted to compare figures and to learning achievement across schools, districts and regions over time.

Street Crime

Pakistan is not comming out of crises.People are fed upto deal with one, after, an other issue. On one hand, real shows the incompetence of prerogative and on other hand it reflects the failure of institutions which are maily responsible to transit the affairs of the country.Although political leadership pastoral and military beurocracy and judiciary are the vital players who brought the scepter at this point of dispondancy but we all, as a nation, are responsible for this situation.

The incidence of snatches and thefts at gunpoint, of cars, motorcycles, cell phones, purses, finance and other personnel belongings in markets, bazaars, parks and roadsides, collectively referred to owing to road CRIMES, has been evolution at a irrational rate over the former few years. Everyday, on an average nearly 100 cases involving such crimes are reported, incredibly larger and now developing numbers remained unreported owing to the increasing skepticism amongst the victims over police faculty to ever meliorate their property. exceedingly often, offering some form of resistance to the perpetrators ends up fix some form of injury or death since the injured party. Since resistance regularly results domination the death of the victim, it has certainly generated a banal command character the mind of the average man to helping hand in that all his possessions when confronted with such a situation. According to Dawn reports, “on 28th sep 2009, around 50 family were deprived of their cars, motorcycles or cell phones fame diverse localities of the country..
The lack of trust in police is the cardinal and perhaps the only reason behind this. The victims oftentimes believe that it is useless filing a report and informing the police due to the kin don’t have immeasurably position in the qualification of police to increase their property. practiced are lots of reasons behind of this break ground equaling due to ,lack of education, unempolyment. people have been very frustrated from about power policies so they want some thing new again they are vitally curious of their future.

Juvenile Justice System Ordinance (JJSO)

Until recently, Pakistan authorities have realized the magnitude of Juvenile crime and evicted keen interest in scientific and empirical studies on juvenile crimes as well its prevention. Juvenile Justice System Ordinance (JJSO) formed in 2000 has legally superseded the previous laws regarding Children, however, there implementation still seems to be inadequate. The ordinance directed the government to set up special juvenile courts for under-age offenders and establish independent trials for juvenile and adult offenders. However, the government has not only failed in setting up of the special juvenile courts but many districts have been found to be grossly violating the ordinance. Juvenile crime will be getting worse in the coming years as the youth population grows, unless we prevent it and effectively intervene when it occurs. More than one million young people appear in juvenile courts each year, and each case is different. Generally, the juvenile system emphasizes treatment and rehabilitation, while the adult system concentrates on punishment of offenders. The juvenile justice system also consists of a large number of no law enforcement agencies. Social services agencies, schools, and community-based organizations all provide services to both juveniles "at-risk" of committing crimes and to juveniles who have committed crimes.

Should Juvenile Criminals be Accepted....????

Majority of the people are aware of the social menace of juvenile criminals. They understand that juvenile criminals are not professional criminals but it is the society or circumstances which force them to commit crimes. It is considered as serious problem in the society which needs to be eradicated as soon as possible. People in the general are willing to contribute and accept juvenile criminals as part of the society. They feel, they should be helped and allowed to have an independent and respectable life as any other citizen of the country. Poverty and survival is considered the foremost reason for the birth of this social evil. Children commit crimes to survive from hunger and self defense. Society has been responsible for forcing them to adopt such a path and government has been also ignorant of their existence. People are individually willing to contribute towards their rehabilitation and feel that by providing them shelter, government support as well as of NGO’s, we can make a huge difference

It is felt that NGO’s which are working for juvenile criminals have not been able to achieve a significant amount of their objectives. However, it is also felt that these criminals should not be forgiven from their punishment but should be helped to become better individuals.
Government has so far been unable to curb juvenile crime as a social menace and neither is the Constitutional law regarding juvenile criminals adequate to cater these criminals well-being. Moreover, it is also felt that Pakistani police is also a part of criminal activities held. It is strongly felt that such threats to the society should be immediately dealt with. Because, if no serious action is taken against them, this evil may spread to roots of our society and become a social peril for us.

Poverty Vs Crime

In Pakistan this thing is common that who belongs to a rich family can passes all the stages of life very easily no matter how difficult were they but have we ever think about those who doesn’t have a strong background ?who doesn’t belongs to a rich family? ,who doesn’t have some one at there back who can support them ? and the simple answer of this difficult ans is NO .As a Muslim and as a Pakistani we should start thinking so we not only able to answer these question but also can gave a strong suggestion to solve them.
Research said that the children who grow up in poor families with a low social status are prone to experiencing unhealthy stress levels. I think not more then 5% of this type of population could build there image in this healthy and full of bribe environment and this happens because there luck is in there way which helps them at the time of need but what about the other 95% of population what they do ?How they manage? How they Live? What are the difficulties that they face? and at last what they do to overcome these all stress full tensions and the answer is that most of them involved in doing crimes however they starts from a low level but at the end they reach to a place where they become the sign of danger for the others and even for the whole nation.
In our country however we made excellent and awesome laws or rules but we don’t implement them to that extent and here the situation occurs where the plant of this poverty starts to grow because if we follows the rules ,The high authorities starts to implementing them then every one will got there rights no matter he is rich or poor. There will be more suitable conditions for the poor population to make the world aware that they also exist and got talent to make there positive image. This is not only the duty of government but also of our selves because we as well are the part of this wrong system and to change it we should change our self first however the role of Government is much more important but our is also .
What I can suggest is that to handle this problem we should consider all the people on the basis of there talent, work, honesty e.t.c not on the basis of there strong background. So our this step helps us in building the confidence of poor level to some extent and after which the rat of crime may be minimized.

Chlid Labour

God has given human beings the boon of wisdom and discretion to think upon the signs of the universe and to draw conclusions. That is the reason why they disclose the hidden facts of it and its structure and have made remarkable progress in many walks of life. Children are the flowers of heaven. They are the most beautiful and purest creation of God. Anyone up to the age of 18 is a child and his basic right is to receive education and proper upbringing. Child Labour is a serious social problem within Pakistan and is considered a violation of human rights by the United Nations. Anyone up to the age of 18 is a child and his basic right is to receive education and proper upbringing rather than use his hands to destroy his own bright future. Children are especially exploited in the third world countries as they are a cheap source of labour and Pakistani children are used as labourers in the Sports Industry, Carpet Industry and the Footwear and in glassware production.

According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics of Pakistan, 3.3 million out of 40 million children are working in various industries, although child labour is strictly prohibited by law.Child Labour is a serious social problem within Pakistan because the future and progress of any country depends on an educated and enlightened youth and if a child is not properly socialized then he/she will not be able to grow as confident and literate Pakistani citizens. There are various reasons for exploitation of children within the economic sector of Pakistan and such causes are directly related to the major social problems of Pakistan. The factors that generate child labour within Pakistan are parental poverty and illiteracy; an irresponsible political system; social and economic pressures; lack of education. Social attitudes in Pakistan due to which a child is considered an adult at quiet an early stage due to biological changes, also are a cause of exploitation of children below 18 years. Poverty is a major social issue within Pakistan and as a result children are made to work in various industries in order to support their financially poor parents. The status of the family directly influences the choices available to a child and obviously if a family is extremely poor with comparatively less resources then consequently, each member, be it a child or an adult will be required to work and bring in money in order to survive. Education is a sociological variable and is of extreme importance because it emancipates a person from the grip of ignorance.. Girls and boys are forced to work as domestic servants in the homes of the upper middle class or the richer elite. Thus class divisions become more prominent with the exploitation of the poor by the rich and this leads to an inequitable distribution of wealth and income. The future and progress of Pakistan depends on an educated and enlightened youth and if a child is not properly socialized then he/she will not be able to grow as confident and literate Pakistani citizens. Pakistan needs a strong government and political structure to address the issue of child labour for its better future.

Poverty in Pakistan

Poverty in Pakistan
In general poverty is defined as a person living less than 1$ a day according to the records billions of people are living under 1$ a day .However there are much issues that Pakistan is facing like suicide attacks, Corruption in which Pakistan is promoted to 42nd worlds corrupt country from 45th ,Different types of criminal activities ,Poverty e.t.c so there are so much issues about which we felt not sure that to which issue we rank the major one but what I think is that all of them are started from just one major issue and that is poverty so it is the major one which should be control as fast as it could be possible.

The main purpose of controlling this act is that if individuals of our country are free from this type of tention and stress then they will not involved in such type of activities which can ruin their lives and all of this scenario can inversely effect the Pakistan . It is the responsibility of our state to do some extra efforts to control this fastly growing problem. There are several ways which can be adopt by our Government to operate with this disease . They have to provide opportunities to both the man and women so they can both help the country to came out from this crucial scenario.

They should made training centers where they trained them and then make them eligible for the task. The should be no discrimination of personality each every person should be appointed because of his qualities and ability .The level of poverty is different in urban and rural areas. The level of poverty is 2 times more in rural areas then to urban and the records and surveys says that more of the crimes including suicide bombers, street crimes, killing e.t.c are done by the people of rural areas so this whole facts and figures says that the poverty is the main root of all these issues “So to control them we have to control this”

Curtailing Juvenile Delinquencies

There are different forms of juvenile delinquencies and one should try to figure out the source of these offences committed by children instead of punishing them every time with the hope that it will bring these offences to an end. In this context, this note sets out a number of recommends that if implemented are likely to decrease the juvenile delinquencies in Pakistan.
Poverty is a key driver of juvenile delinquencies. Family stricken with economic usually cannot afford to educate their children. From a very age, children of these families are forced to work. Lack of education and guidance from parent’s means that moral values do no develop in these children and they cannot differentiate between right and wrong. This makes them easy targets of criminal gangs that recruit them.
Another key factor is the family and home environment that children receive. Parents should try to live in harmony and should provide a good home environment to their children. They should give focus on all aspects of their children developments. This could include having regular discussions with them, monitoring their academic progress, teaching them the values and ethics they should follow in their life. A disruptive home environment marked with frequent fights between the parents is likely to have a significant negative impact on the personality of the child. Under such a situation, the child might feel deprived and ignored and might try to gain attention through getting involved in criminal offences.
One kind of juvenile delinquency is socio-path; this refers to a personality disorder of a child who has committed an offence. This disorder should be diagnosed before punishing or imprisoning the child. Once diagnosed, the child should undergo a therapy as soon as possible. If these children will be punished or sent to jail, it would aggravate their problem and would have a negative impact on their personality.
Working parents are usually not able to spare a lot of time for their children. However, as mentioned above, this is likely to have a negative impact on the personality of the child. Therefore working parents should focus on striking a work life balance and any spare time they get, they should spend with their children engaging them in extracurricular activities such as sports and other outdoor activities.
Another factor contributing juvenile delinquencies are fundamental systems in our institutions. Our institutions such as educational universities and professional organization have failed to contribute towards the moral and ethical developments of children. It usually considered an area which is the responsibility of the parents alone. This is significant short coming of our societal structure. It is essential to realize that the up brining, moral and ethical development of the children is collective responsibility that includes parents, teachers and other aspects of the society which the children interacts with.
Certain aspects of the modern media have also contributed towards juvenile delinquencies. Media should not be promoting programs or dramas that encourage violence or juvenile delinquencies. Instead the media should be used to disseminate positive messages which help the youth to learn a positive lesson and help him improve his society values. Media can also serve to eliminate the crimes which are excessively prevalent in the society. For example these days young boys are increasingly been used in suicide bombing in Pakistan in the name of jihad. A constructive on media’s part on this issue could be to air programmes that explain to the people the underlying principles of Islam that are reflective of peace and forgiveness.
The biggest role can be played by the government itself. The government should make sure that everyone is able to attain a minimum standard of living. For this, a number of economic and social reforms such as the increase in social welfare spending and incentivizing foreign investment (that would eventually lead to job creations) can be undertaken. Government should also try to crack down on criminals. This requires an efficient and honest police and judicial system.
In terms of social sectors reforms, government should make sure that affordable education is accessible to all students. For outstanding students, it should provide scholarships and other forms of funding so that they can attain higher education from world class institutions. The prospects of a better future that entails economic prosperity will incentivize children to focus on their education and work hard at it. Once they will complete their initial education, they would be able to earn a decent income which would help them survive a basic standard of living.
For juvenile delinquents that are spending their term in the jail, the approach should be to help them differentiate between the right and the wrong and develop moral and ethical values in them. This would entail providing educational facilities in the jail. Moreover, an effort should be made to teach these children skills that they can use to earn a living such as craftsmanship.
Overall, all other measures discussed above are likely to have a substantial impact on curtailing juvenile delinquencies in Pakistan.

Causes of Juvenile Crime in Pakistan

Juvenile crimes are not only grass rooted in our society due to poverty and survival but are a result of social disorder which prevails in all spheres of our life. It is a social dilemma of our society, where we are unable to mould our community to higher morals and acceptability of other’s right. Juvenile crimes are particularly high in urban areas, especially Lahore because it is an amalgam of all social classes, where poorest to richest subsists, and this clash of wealth gives birth to crimes. When, poor are compelled to commit crimes, considering other who has the luxuries of life. Social discrimination and lust for the more, gives birth to such heinous crimes.
Government has been ignorant of considering juvenile criminals as an exception from professional criminals as they constitute of the youth of the country. There have been efforts made including providing them education and facilitating them with modern technology at some jails in Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi etc. However, these attempts are insufficient and should be further extended to all other minor cities’ jails. By providing them education and catering to their needs, it would help to extinguish their anguish and anxiety towards the society. It is the responsibility of the government to nourish these individuals to become better human beings rather than professional criminals. As these children are the future of the country, they should be enhanced to contribute positively to the society and become a valuable asset to the country. If proper measures are not taken to curb juvenile criminal activities, due to already dooming economy, it would be a strong threat to social prosperity. Government, as well as, individual need to realize the social implication of juvenile crimes. If a child has been in jail for a few months for a minor crime, and if he is not properly treated his punishment would become a liability to the society rather than help the community by bringing him to the right path.

The juvenile justice order system regarding under age children allows for a reduction in their punishment sentence but it needs to be amended to create a more comprehensive document working for the betterment of juvenile criminals who are not professional criminals. The sentence for them should be reduced and there should more awareness as well as educating of these criminals.
As individual we need to accept our responsibility and work for the social welfare of these criminals. The law making policy regarding them and helping them on societal basis is very important. Because, they are a part of the youth of the country and the future generation in whose hands this country would be held. Therefore, we need to thrive as society and remove malevolence such as juvenile crimes in our society.

Violence aginst Women in Pakistan

Women victims of domestic violence encounter even higher levels of unresponsiveness and hostility, as actors at all levels of the criminal justice system typically view domestic violence as a private matter that does not belong in the courts. When asked about the domestic violence victims who have been examined at his office, the head medico legal doctor for Karachi explained that 25 percent of such women come with self-inflicted wounds. Human Rights Watch has investigated the Pakistan government's response to the pervasive problem of violence against women in the country's two largest cities, Karachi and Lahore. Despite the severity of the problem, the government's response has been indifferent at best. At worst it has served to exacerbate the suffering of women victims of violence and to obstruct the course of justice. A stark example of the serious flaws in the applicable legislation is the fact that the very filing of rape charges can make the victim vulnerable to prosecution for extramarital sex. In some instances victims of rape and sexual abuse have actually been detained for months or even years, prior to trial, on charges of illicit sexual intercourse. Since statutory rape is not a crime in Pakistan, even barely pubescent girls alleging rape risk being charged with fornication or consensual sex outside of marriage.

Crime Rates increased by 20.1%

Despite the efforts and measures taken by the government and tall claims of law enforcement agencies for busting gangs, the crime rate in the country is increasing day by day and the crime rate is said to be touching 20.1 percent during the last one year in all over the country. the graph of vehicle theft and snatching, mobile phones snatching , fatal incidents and general cimes is on rise while police and other law enforcers are raising pleasant slogans and making non-stop claims fo busting criminal gangs and rounding up individuals indulging in vehicle snatching and other crimes. Despite establishment of apid response centes, anti car lifting cells, citizen police liaison committees, Mohafiz squads, blocking snatched mobile phones, Madagar-15, anti terrorist squad and improvement in the highway patrolling by four provinces and administeration of Capital Territory, the law enforcement agencies have miseably failed to control such incidents.
According to data collected by online from Ntional Police Bureau (NPB) shows that there are 59189 proclaimed offenders involved in major crimes while police has succeeded to arest 70948 POs during year 2006 but still 59000 ar operating. Amazingly, the numbers also increased from 58615 in 2005 to 59189 in 2006. According to the data, Punjab is still on top position with record number of 25991 proclaimed offendes while Sindh is on second with 18373 ooffenders, NWFP 9514, Balochistan 2659, Federal Capital 1777, Northern areas 446 and AJK have 429 proclaimed offenders.

Terrorism in Pakistan

Pakistan has suffered from the killing of noncombatants by both state and non-state actors with the latte group often based both inside and outside the present-day country. there was massive loss of non-combatant life during patition of British India and creation of Pakistan. stife between Shia and Sunni Muslims and persecution of Ahmediyyas occured as early as the 1950s.

Currently however, the biggest threat to the state and citizens of Pakistan emanates killing civilians and policemen to achieve their political ends, origination of which can be attributed to General Zia ul Haq's controversial "Islamization" policies, the president of the country in the 1980s. His tenure saw Pakistan's exceeding involvement in Soviet-Afghan War, which led to greater influx of ideologically driven Afghan Arabs in the tribal areas and the explosion of kalashnikoy and drugs culture. the state and its intelligence agency inter-services intelligence in alliance with the United States ans Central Intelligence Agency encouraged the mujahideen to fight the proxy war against the Soviet Union, most of which were never disarmed after the war. some of these groups were later activated under the behest of the state in the form of Lashkar-e-Taiba, Harkat-ul-Mujahideen and others were encouraged like Taliban to achieve state's agenda in Kahmir and Afghanistan. The same groups are now taking on the state itself.

Lack of Education in Pakistan

Lack of education is one problem that needs to be solved as only it can lead to a brighter future for Pakistan. The problems concerning education our numerous but this article is concerning Gender Disparity and how education of girls is thought as something that will lead to the doom of Pakistan, instead of it progression by the Talibans.

Gender Disparity in Education is majorly affected by the new era of Talibans and terrorism. Talibans enforced a complete ban on female education in the Swat District. At a stroke, 60 girls were deprived of their education, joining countless others across Pakistan with little chance of ever going to school. That was six years ago. Today an old blackboard, laced by a cat's cradle of silver cobwebs, preserves that last lesson inside a silent classroom.

Now terrorism is something that the Government of Pakistan is trying its best to solve but the awareness od education can actually stop this spread of terrorism. The Taliban movement was born in Pakistan's madrassas, giving these institutions a reputation as factories for extremism, dedicated to brainwashing their pupils and turning out terrorist recruits. And so by educating the future generation of Pakistan (which includes both girls and boys) we can stop this extremism and rise of Taliban.

Rising Street Crimes Expose Govt's Tall Claims

Police used tactic strategy to show the decline in crime rate rather than to curb the activities of the criminals. The policy of showing decline in the crime rate is usually employed in the police department from top to bottom. The conventional methods used to evaluate the police performance are being employed even at the higher echelons in different ways while the weekly registration of crime cases, severity of cases and number of FIRs are the only method to assess the police performance. the most common practice that has been used by the police is to change the subject of FIR. when a person goes to tha police station for his case regarding snatched vehicle and mobile phone, the officials file the FIR of the stolen or missing.
Majority of the victims of mobile snatching doesn't go to police stations for the registration of FIR until they are deprived of other valuables such as national identity card and the things. otherwise the victims of mobile phone snatching just imformed the mobile phone company to de-active the sim card only. The same thing happened with shafi baloch who is an employee of the nation who was depressed of his cell phone and his id cards (NIC) at a gun point just beside the office situated on the mohammad ali jinnah road. He requested the jamshed town police station to register his FIR. the police registered the FIR but changed the subject.he said the police registered the case after he introduced himself but when he returned to home and read out the FIR.. its subject was changed completely as the police had mentioned that his mobile and other valuables lost when he was on the way to office. a similar tactic was used in the case of one Adnan, who had been deprived of his motorcycle at gunpoint while the police registered the theft case.

Visiting Central Jail(camp): A tragedy or Justice???

Visiting Central Jail (camp) Ichra, Lahore was a very different experience of my life. I have never been to such place or never had a chance to experience the reality of life. The moment I entered the jail I saw families and families waiting to meet their loved one who were behind the bars for different reasons. They were carrying food, clothes and other essential accessories for their loved ones who were living there.

Although I had a recommendation letter, still some of the policemen their thought that I was there for the same reason, to meet someone who was locked there. I had to wait there for few couple of minutes when I was taken to the superintendent’s office who was fortunately my uncle and thanks to him who made all these arrangements and made this interview possible. After waiting again for a couple of minutes I was taken to the IT room where the defendant was brought for the interview. At my first glance he seemed an innocent child because the very first second I saw him I couldn’t figure out that was he the one who was brought in for interview? Then I started off with the interview I couldn’t believe that he was just 16 year old and committed a murder however which was later revealed that it was unfortunately an unintentional murder. Talking to him and discussing his case with him made me feel pity for him and it was clear enough to see that he was regretting every second of his life for what he did by mistake. He said if he gets a chance to run he’ll make sure that without wasting a single second he’ll run from the jail because he is sick and tired of living there. The only support he is looking forward is his family and is praying day and night to get out of there. In these 8 months the only problem regarding his health is itching problem due to the insufficient cleanliness measures rest is all ok. He is getting education there as well and is waiting to get out of their as soon as possible so that he can earn a good future for rest of his life, where he is planning to go abroad study and work.

Juvnile Delinquency

In a society, where dearth of moral and social justice are the root causes of a corrupt social disorder there is a dire need for recognition of these problems and understanding their importance in the disruption of our society. Juvenile Delinquency has become a global epidemic and is spreading in developed and developing societies in both organized and semi-organized manners. It has become a social phenomenon in Pakistan, particularly in Lahore, where the zenith of social injustice prevails. Juvenile crime is the broad-based term given to juveniles who commit crimes. Juveniles are defined as those people who haven’t reached adulthood or the age of majority. What defines adulthood or the age of majority in a court system may be predetermined by law, especially for minor crimes. Major crimes may force the courts to decide to try a juvenile as an adult, a very important distinction, since sentencing can then mean not just spending adolescence, but a lifetime in prison. Delinquency can be defined as the committing of those things considered crimes by the state, although delinquent can also mean abandoned. Thus juvenile delinquency can cover anything from small crime — a student who cuts school repeatedly is delinquent--to very serious crimes like felony theft and murder.
